Residential Sales Representative

Pyle Fence, an established, respected, and family-owned fence company located in Baltimore, Maryland is seeking qualified candidates for its Residential Sales Division in Anne Arundel County. For over 80 years, the company has offered a wide array of fences to area homeowners. The Residential Sales Representative will be responsible for meeting with homeowners who have requested appointments and are interested in one of the company’s many products. The Residential Sales Representative is not responsible for lead generation and can expect the volume of qualified leads to be consistently high throughout the year. Qualified candidates should have reliable transportation. Ongoing training on the company’s products and services support the Sales team to expand earning potential.

Responsibilities of the Residential Sales Representative include

–  Managing incoming leads for residential and private/light commercial business;
–  Estimating costs and developing pricing estimates, proposals, scope of work statements, and contracts;
–  Negotiating and closing deals;
–  Submitting documentation and answering questions from the Operations team;
–  Ensuring customer satisfaction with work performed;
–  Managing change orders; and
–  Solving problems and knowing when to escalate matters to management.

Qualified candidates should be

–  Reliable, consistent, trustworthy, and service-oriented;
–  Experienced in consumer-driven sales, basic home construction concepts, job estimation, and pricing models;
–  Outstanding oral communication and writing skills;
–  Self-motivated and independent;
–  Able to read blueprints;
–  Capable of using email, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; and
–  Able to perform mathematical calculations for materials and pricing during appointments.
